This three-day, two-night trip is for adventure seekers only! Drive your own
team of dogs into the beautiful Caribou Hills to see mountains, cross rivers
and check out wildlife all on the back of a dog team.
Day 1:  An introduction to mushing. Meet the dogs, learn how to harness a
team, steer and brake on the sled and what to expect on the trail. Take off
from the Spitfire Kennels yard with Jillian and Rich to Caribou Lake where we
will spend the night around a cozy fire in the comfort of a lodge.
Day 2: Getting to know the back-country. After a leisurely breakfast, hook up
your team with Jillian and Rich and head into the mountains for an afternoon
of challenging terrain and amazing scenery. Enjoy an authentic trail lunch with
your team before heading back to Caribou Lake for another night in the wilds.
Day 3: After breakfast, hook up your team one more time to head back to the
kennel. Don’t forget your camera for plenty of photos with your new pals.
Meals will be provided during the trip. Transportation to the kennel and
accommodations before and after the dog sled trip are not included though
packages with
Timber Bay B&B are available. Some extra warm clothing is
available but please check for details.

Please phone or email for more details and pricing.
